Born and raised in Mumbai, Arpita Mehta discovered her passion for fashion very young. Even after having an academic background in science, she confidently pursued her dreams and earned a degree in Fashion Design from S.N.D.T College of Home Science. Equipped with the essential skills and knowledge she gained from her education, she ventured into the world of designing and crafting her own clothing line.

The beginning
After completing her fashion degree, Arpita worked with renowned industry designers, improving her skills and collecting valuable experience. This journey eventually led her to establish her brand in 2009. She made her debut at Lakme Fashion Week 2013 where she presented her inaugural collection Violet Garden, which included distinctive prints adorned with detailed mirrorwork embellishments. Over the years, her eponymous label has gained immense popularity, with her elegant designs loved and adorned by numerous Bollywood celebrities.
