The two sisters initially pursued economics during their graduation but both of them had a great inclination towards creative and fashion field. Later, Gauri and Nainika decided to pursue their passion and studied fashion design from National Institute Of Fashion Technology, Delhi. After gaining expertise in fashion design, Gauri and Nainika launched their label in January 2002. Gauri and Nainika have been largely inspired by the fashion sense of glamourous Hollywood actresses like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.
