Namrata Joshipura:

A highly acclaimed, award winning fashion designer, Namrata Joshipura switched from is one of the most celebrated designers in India. She is a graduate from National Institute of Fashion (NIFT) in 1994 and gravitated from commerce to fashion in order to explore her innate creativity. The design expert launched her signature label ‘Namrata Joshipura’ in the year 1996, after a two year experience with veteran designer Suneet Varma. She made her runway debut with a two designer show sharing the stage with none other than Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Namrata has a knack of blending the contemporary with modern and her designs reflect a distinct take.

Elle Magazine named Namrata Joshipura as the ‘Designer of the Year’ for their Style award for 2013. In 1999, Namrata represented India and won second prize at the Asia Pacific Young Designer's Show and  was the first Indian designer to be selected to participate in the "World Young Designers' Award Ceremony".
