Gauri pursued a course in Gemology at GIA, London and a course in Jewellery Designing at JPDC, New Delhi. The designer’s creations blend modern trends with Indian influences. Every piece is handcrafted with an added focus on the quality and finish. The designer also loves experimenting with stones of varied shapes and sizes, thus making every piece perfectly unique. Necklaces and belts are her favorite accessories, so she immensely loves designing them

The beginning…

Gauri Himatsingka started out on her own in 2010, and launched an entire range of jewellery which she designed and manufactured in-house in Kolkata under her namesake label Gauri.

A Brief introduction about your brand/label?

The designer, Gauri Himatsingka loves using various stones in her designs. Each piece is made unique by the use of different kinds of rare stones and is like an exquisite piece of art. The feeling of it being a one-of-a-kind piece is always a feel-good factor which is also the label’s USP. The label houses earrings, neckpieces, rings, bracelets, cuffs, belts, brooches, and cufflinks for men.
