The Beginning…
Aisha Rao studied sustainable design practises at Instituto Europeo Di Design Barcelona, Spain and made her fashion debut with the eponymous label Aisha Rao in the year 2018.

Established in the year 2018, Aisha Rao, today is one of India’s leading fashion houses. Having studied Environmental Law from one of India's National Law Schools and sustainable design practises at Instituto Europeo Di Design Barcelona, Spain, sustainability forms the core of her brand. A loyal & growing client base in India & international markets stand as a testimony to her distinguished style, impeccable intricate detailing, eye for perfection & sustainable approach. The designer aims at crafting up-cycled luxury occasion wear, with appliqué work and an electric fusion of colours being her signature style. The painstaking appliqué combined with the laborious overlay of aari, zardozi and macrame form a unique aesthetic that pushes the envelope and redefines how a traditional lehenga is created and adorned. She encompasses fragmentation and duality into her label by bringing forth garments that are elevated and vibrant in nature.
