How did your career begin?
Anita Dongre was born in Mumbai shortly after her father relocated from Jaipur. Born into a traditional Sindhi family, she had only seen women do household chores and care for the family. She saw how women in this city are employed, entrepreneurs, and work in corporate environments and wanted to cater to them and become financially independent.
Inspired by her mother, who designed and stitched clothes for her and her siblings, she eventually launched her label after studying Fashion Design at SNDT University, Mumbai.

Anita Dongre believes fashion is crucial to enhancing a person's sense of self and confidence. This luxury label's designs are versatile enough to fit any setting or occasion. The label aims to design ensembles that can be cherished for years, whether a bridal lehenga, a sherwani, or a perfectly-fitting jacket.
The label designs exquisite ensembles and handcrafted jewellery as a tribute to India's supreme craftsmanship. The label crafts its creations from biodegradable textiles sourced from renewable resources to create a greener and more beautiful tomorrow for its customers.
