The beginning…
Whenever there was a function in Ashna’s family, she would sit down with her family members & close friends to design their clothes and also help them with styling. She would personally visit her local tailor and get these outfits made. With this thought and an already prevalent interest in fashion design, she turned her passion into her profession.
Ashna Vaswani as a label.
The USP of the label is that it showcases the amalgamation of traditional Indian sensibilities and aesthetics in a modern context. Ashna Vaswani designer clothing is eclectic, elegant, and exotic. The label's breakthrough collection was their sustainable line called BHATT-GHAR. It got a lot of appreciation when it was showcased in India Fashion Week and then in Rajasthan Heritage Week. Ashna Vaswani worked with block printing on khadi. The label was the first one to make a couture collection in block print.
