The designer of her namesake label grew up in New Jersey, United States Of America and later moved to New Delhi when she was 16. She has been living and working in Mumbai for 16 years now. “I've always been fascinated with anything creative and love painting, architecture and travelling,” says Gunu.

The beginning…
Gunu began her career working for esteemed designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla which according to her, was an enriching and extremely gratifying learning experience.
Gunu Sahni as a label
The label's USP lies in the fact that it strives to create clothing for real women; pieces that look and feel fabulous on all body types. Their niche lies in amalgamating unique embellishments with stylish cuts and focusing only on delivering the highest quality garments. Gunu Sahni was one of the first designers in India to launch embellished capes, which have done phenomenally well over the years. The label recently launched an athleisure line that has also proved to be an ever-favorite with clients.
