The beginning…

After completing her education, Divya worked with the label Anamika Khanna for about 6 years. Nineteen89 was started by her after she moved to Delhi in 2016.

Nineteen89 is a contemporary pret label with an ethnic touch. The garments are carefully handmade by juxtaposing Indian art with modern aesthetics. There is an emphasis on attention to detailing as well as high quality fabrics in every piece.
