The Beginning…

Nupur Kanoi started her career as a fashion stylist and writer with the luxury lifestyle magazine Verve. Her passion for fashion and desire to do things differently inspired her to launch her eponymous label in 2006. Nupur made her national runway debut at Lakme Fashion Week in March 2012.

Nupur Kanoi’s creations reflect a rich use of global craft and colour merging with embroideries and surface texturing, always with a bit of artistic disarray. The discordant harmony gives a natural, beautiful, handmade feel to the label’s collection, which turned out to be her forte. The label fuses bohemian charm with contemporary and traditional aesthetics.
