The city has a long tradition of being the major source of embroidered and hand woven fabrics; chikankari being one of the most intricate and popular forms of embroideries. “I hail from Lucknow and therefore, I have developed the intrinsic ability to identify and choose the right fabric and embroidery for specific looks,” Apoorva states.

The beginning…
“My journey began when one day, I was travelling to Lucknow to buy chikankari outfits which in turn inspired me to take this ancient art by hardworking embroiderers and transform it into western and contemporary silhouettes,” Apoorva muses. Her brand strives to promote and uplift embroiderers who are the true keepers of this traditional art.
