Born and brought up in Lucknow, India and with her label based in Mumbai, Apoorva always dreamt of popularizing the renown Lucknowi chikankari embroidery. The city has a long tradition of being the major source of embroidered and hand woven fabrics; chikankari being one of the most intricate and popular forms of embroideries. “I hail from Lucknow and therefore, I have developed the intrinsic ability to identify and choose the right fabric and embroidery for specific looks,” Apoorva states.
