How did your career begin?
Pallavi was keen to pursue a career that strikes a chord between her beautiful surroundings and fashion which led her to study at NIFT- New Delhi. Her pent up desire to succeed in the fashion world fructified in her being selected at the Lakme fashion week where she launched her label ‘Pallavi Jaipur’ in 2009 and thereafter at the Wills/Amazon/Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week.
A Brief introduction about your brand/label?
Pallavi Jaipur designs are synonymous with soft flows of chiffons intertwined with a mix of luxurious and hand loom fabrics. The amalgamation of traditional forms and modern sensibilities onto contemporary wear is the label's philosophy, emphasizing on global style, luxury and wear ability. Her forte lies in detailing the fabrics by using fascinating techniques of hand embroideries, block and screen printing, styling and construction, creating a modern look for the woman of today making each garment a signature piece.
