I have spent my childhood in Kolkata, a hub of art and culture, and was a fairly good student and sportswoman. From childhood, I remember drawing croquis but was clueless about fashion as a career. Early marriage & motherhood did not deter me from following my dreams and I enrolled in the newly opened JD institute of Fashion Technology for pursuing my childhood dream, followed by diplomas in textile & jewelry design.
