The beginning…
Growing up, Ruchi & Rashi always knew that they wanted to do something progressive in the Indian fashion industry. They took the time to understand the market and how to cater to the clientele, thus launching their label Ruceru in 2010.
Ruceru
The label’s emphasis lies in wearability and ace craftsmanship to create statement pieces. Ruceru’s signature style includes deconstruction of traditional drapes and creative surface development techniques, where it tries to create wearable art. Every Ruceru piece has a certain kind of ease and effortlessness to it. Fabrics like crepe, chiffon, silk satin, silk Habutai, raw silk are some of the highlights of the label’s collections. The label creates fine drapes with flattering cuts which accentuate the body, concentrating on creating feminine silhouettes with more organic draping techniques.
