How did your career begin?
Sanskriti Bankliwal worked for Meena Bazaar, then with a designer in Hyderabad, and later under Varun Bahl as a Designer. The designer always dreamt of having her own label, and in the year 2020, she left her job and started the ideation for her brand, which became a reality in 2021.
A Brief introduction about your brand/label?
Enamoured by opulence and attention to detail - Label Sanskriti Bankliwal re-interprets and works on creating timeless clothing that is easy to wear, versatile, and can be treasured forever. The idea behind the brand is to deliver timeless clothing, evolving into something different every season, centred around embroideries. Floral motifs through dori and Resham embroidery with pearl and sequin embellishments extensively manifest our aesthetic vocabulary. Proudly inculcating Indian craftsmanship, the label also carries elements of Persian and Mughal cultures with an emphasis on fine tailoring and finishing.
