“We love to eat and most of my family members are epic cooks. My grandmother (Ammi) was from Surat and we learnt some fabulous Surti dishes from her. We were also very lucky to have travelled to some of the most beautiful countries in the world as a family,” says the designer. Tanzila was always passionate about art & travel, and she has visited several museums & art galleries all over the world. She describes herself as the typical 90s kid - one who wore chunky platform shoes, dark lipstick, black nail polish and listened to Nirvana and the Spice Girls!
