RAW MANGO

ABOUT RAW MANGO

THE SAREE
Raw Mango sarees have changed the way women wear the traditional six-yard piece. In 2015, the signature sarees were also showcased as part of ‘The Fabric of India’ exhibition at Victoria & Albert Museum, London. With a unique approach to design, designer Sanjay Garg has reimagined the saree and made it universally appealing.
HANDWOVEN TEXTILES
The Raw Mango brand was built from a love affair with local and traditional textiles. Defined by the use of Banarasi, Brocade and Chanderi fabrics, Raw Mango has re-explored forgotten fabrics bringing forward India's rich crafts and weaves. Envisioning handloom as high-end fashion, the label has been working closely with craftsmen across India and designing culturally-rooted ensembles.
INDIAN MOTIFS
It's the little details that set the brand apart! Raw Mango offers a range of sarees, lehengas and kurta sets featuring traditional motifs like marigold flowers, lotuses elephants, and peacocks in vibrant hues. The bold and quirky motifs turn the handwoven creations into beautiful works of art.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Raw Mango's story began in 2008 with an undiluted love for handwoven textiles, craft and culture. Drawing inspiration from India's vibrant colours, traditions and aesthetics, the brand brings together century-old skills and contemporary design sensibilities. The label is known for its range of handloom Banarasi sarees and is creating a unique voice, questioning place and perspective through design.
