Among a few designers, it is Vikram Phadnis who started without any formal training and became one of the top-notch creators in the industry. He went for choreography, but soon realized his real calling in fashion and went on to design for the biggest names in the glamour world. Vikram Phadnis's grandeur work reflects avant-garde preference and his label Krasaa retails from Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.

For Vikram Phadnis, it is the richness of Indian couture that inspires him to create designs that promote local craft and traditional outlay. The designer's label offers both Indian and Western wear for men and women. He is also looking forward to stepping into hospitality and home interiors in the future.

Awards
Vikram was honored with an Award for Technical Excellence, 2005 by International Indian Film Academy for Best Costume Design (Mujhse Shaadi Karogi). He was also nominated for Star Guild Award for Best Costume Design (Baghban)
Collaborations
Vikram Phadnis had collaborated with young entrepreneurs Sizer Lakhani and Kanav Arora, Directors of Nakshatra Creations Pvt Ltd for Lakme Fashion Week 2014. Popular online apparel brand Myntra also joined hands with Vikram for the exclusive collection Green Carpet Line recently.
