Ekru is a fashion venture founded by two designers, Ekta Jaipuria and Ruchira Kandhari in 2003. The designers focus their attention on creating luxury ready-to-wear outfits and Indian statement wear and pieces. The venture has become a fashion patent in Kolkata along with the rest of the nation with its clientele exceeding to Bollywood A-listers such as Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja to name a few. They also give back to the society by having an in-house atelier that supports the heavily talented Indian craftsmen and artisans.
