Jaipur Rugs was founded in the year 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary. Initially the brand was named as Jaipur Carpets, later in 1999 it was renamed to Jaipur Rugs. Eventually with expansion of business across 40 countries, Jaipur Rugs revolutionized the carpet business globally. Presently the brand has 40,000 artisans spread across 600 villages all over India. Jaipur Rugs has its headquarters in Jaipur, India and Atlanta, USA.
