She studied fashion design at Academia Italiana and the University of Wales as well as marketing from the Assumption University in Thailand. She got her start in fashion working under designer Kemissara in the Bangkok Elle Fashion week and Seoul Fashion week. Aruni is also the recipient of the Vogue India Honors 2012.
