Although Pulkita completed her engineering studies in India, her interest — her instinct — was always nudging her toward fashion. She decided to follow this pull, starting her journey as an editorial intern at Grazia, a name that resonates in fashion circles, and later at Times of India, the country’s most-read newspaper. These internships weren’t just resume builders — they gave her a peek into the mechanics of the industry, behind the glamour and glossy pages.

Eventually, she chose to go deeper. Exploring designing and luxury brand management, Pulkita took a leap that led her to Milan, to NABA, during the high-octane energy of Milan Fashion Week. It was there — amidst the chaos, creativity, and catwalks — that she got an immersive look at the fashion world’s international face. Italian luxury labels, some of the biggest in the game, were right in front of her. The experience? Eye-opening.

This up-close exposure to the global fashion landscape ended up becoming a turning point in her creative evolution. It stirred something in her — a need to build, to express, to create her own narrative through design. Slowly, what was once a side interest evolved into Studio22: a brand reflective of Pulkita’s imagination, culture, and sensibility.
