The Haelli is founded by an engineering graduate Neha Sahu based in Gurgaon, Haryana. She was known to be passionate about art, contemporary designs and bright colours which led her to start her Label of Juttis ( a traditional north Indian footwear). She first started by painting her own juttis, and later was approached by family, friends and others to design a pair of them. She aims to make pretty and comfortable juttis which can be paired up with not only party wear but also casual and formals. The Label name ‘Haelli’ is derived from the word ‘Havelli’ which is an Indian name for heritage palace. Designer Neha Sanu aims to take us down the lane of Indian cultural heritage house of Juttis with her unique twist of contemporary motifs and designs. The Haelli Jutti Collection is handcrafted and hand-painted on 100% leather in bright colours. The collection defines elegance, quirky and stylish statement breaking the stereotype of juttis. The subtle texture and abstract patterns make juttis wearable with traditional as well as contemporary outfits.
