ABOUT ANAVILA

LINEN SAREES
Changing the perception of luxury, which is usually associated with sheen and lustre, Anavila brought linen textile into the mainframe. After working for three years with the Ministry of Rural Development, she got first-hand experience of the handloom sector and decided to make it into the apparel sector. She has kept her focus on simplistic designs and that is what considers to be a reflection of her aesthetics. The Anavila brand produces around 80-100 saris every month.
BUSA DOLLS
In her unique approach in introducing the sari to a young girl, Anavila started producing Busa dolls, which means ‘younger sister’ from wasted fabric. This move is to let them appreciated the saris and textiles, which has been one of its kind approaches. The brand recreates these dolls, where one can connect and resemble their own culture.
MODERN DESIGN
Anavila has made contrast selvedge and geometrics her signature style, but that doesn’t stop her from taking an innovative path. One can also notice the consistency in her inclination towards various colours and textures, which are all inspired by nature.
