ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Asha Kamal Modi founded Art Karat in 1988 with a silver jewellery line featuring elegant and statement pieces that managed to lure the women who were obsessed with gold. Asha has been India’s renowned jewellery designer for Bollywood and worked for movies like Devdas, Monsoon Wedding, Kamasutra, Zubeida, Ram Leela and Padmavati. The designer has also designed jewellery for royal personalities like Princess Diana, Shekha Shamma Princess of UAE, Maharani Gayatri Devi and Queen Rania of Jordan.
