SUSTAINABLE FASHION
Bodice has been one of the pioneering brands for challenging conventions when it comes to sustainability. Procuring textiles from India, including wool from Kullu in the Himalayas and cotton from the south. The indigo dye used is fermented naturally, every pleat and seam are hand stitched. The buttons are created from naturally sourced sea shells, coconut shells and wood.

Bodice is associated with local artisans who have inherited ancient art and craft techniques, polished and honed through generations. The brand supports the livelihood of these artisans along with exploring cutting-edge techniques and modern solutions.

The creative vision of Ritika Sachdeva, Bodice was founded in 2011 after she graduated from London College of Fashion and interned with Vivienne Westwood and Giles Deacon. Bringing about a noteworthy change in contemporary Indian fashion, the brand's universal aesthetics are inspired from traditional roots. The brand has carved a niche in the sustainable fashion segment creating new possibilities from ethical and traditional techniques.
