Atiya was born and brought up in Mumbai and studied at Green lawns High school, Breach Candy followed by HR college. While she came from a family of doctors, her hobbies mainly revolved around art, music and fitness. Even though it was a challenging career move, her artistic expression finally led her to study fashion design at SNDT.

Adah is a modern & feminine take on Indian silhouettes and stands for elegance and poise that reflect on the designs. The signature of the brand holds the basic ethos of providing elegance while adding a bit of youthful energy to the wearer! Being a true creative, Atiya claims "Most of the collections I design resonate with different parts of my personality."
The beginning
Soon after graduation, Atiya turned her college placement at SDS into a full-time job, where she worked closely with veterans like Hemant Trivedi, Manish Malhotra and Mr Pinakin Patel. After years of working in the fashion industry, finally came the conception of 'ADAH' in the year 2019.
