Aanchal Bubber Mehta & Sanjana Bubber are identical twin courtiers based in Mumbai, India. Being artistic in their youth and chose fashion as a canvas for their creative expressions. The twins have honed their skills through an intensive 3-year diploma in Apparel Manufacture & Design from SNDT University. Their inspirations for their collections are unique and range from art, history and archaeology. The twins love blended antique Indian elements with western & contemporary concepts. Their multi-functional designs and silhouettes represent a unique synergy of their creative visions as well as their contrasting yet similar personalities.

Neko is a tribute to Nicholas II Romanov, the last Tzar. This collection is a resurrection of Nikolai, celebrating him as if he were a modern man today. Focussing on his past glory, geometric grandeur, and tarnished opulence, we have stripped away his gold and grandeur to try and introspect within his torment and tribulations. Troy is a historic-themed collection with a bold vibe. Inspired by the battle of 'Troy'; the collection is the genesis of their own Trojan warriors. With a play on armour, grain lines, roman inspired drapes, patchwork and gilded with aged metal and stud embroideries. The collection is inspired from Trojan shields, chain mail, armour and battle gear. Amotan is inspired from the famous art fictional shipwreck fantasy & mockumentary “Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable” by Damien Hirst. This collection is a tribute to Hirst who is our designers' favourite conceptual artist. The collection is an Indian, royal and luxurious collection with unique contemporary styling.

Bubber Couture is a decade-old renowned Luxury Couture Label based in Mumbai, India. Over the past 12 years, the brand has become South Bombay's best-kept secret, relying on word-of-mouth referrals from hundreds of satisfied customers to become the preferred choice of its discerning clientele. The brand blends an Indian aesthetic with the contemporary, believing in timeless fashion. The designs are classic but tailored in their silhouettes and multi-functional, catering to the stylish and minimalistic man. Bubber Couture is known for its unique inspirations that range from art, history and archaeology as well as its bespoke services. It is also popular for its debonair menswear accessories like pocket squares, buttons, cufflinks and bow ties.

The twins launched their studio in 2011. With the success of their first few collections, they launched their first flagship store in 2016 in Mumbai, India.
