Jan and April

Jan was always inclined towards arts, paintings, and creation of pretty things. While April ran wild with her dreams of fashion, styling, enticing silhouettes and so on. Since their childhood they wanted to create something of their own but the corporate world kept them busy. Jan was hesitant at first but April convinced her to explore this fashion journey with her. Jan and April
Jan & April is a poetic amalgamation of Indian handlooms, textile, modern silhouettes and city vibes. Started during the peak of the pandemic, when the unemployment wave hit the country, Jan & April decided to take shape and help workers with the needful. The label soon created more earning opportunities for people from low-income groups by providing skill training to under-skilled women and making them self-dependent. Being an ethical fashion brand, Jan & April bridges the gap between traditional Indian craftsmanship, city vibes and modern silhouettes. The brand takes extra efforts in being a conscious brand by trying to have a “zero waste” model. So far they haven’t dumped any waste material and created a section “Bags & Accessories – The Upcycle Project” by using waste material. “A Little Dream” is their first collection and it actually reflects J & A in every sense of it. The idea behind the collection was to create timeless pieces that are practical, comfortable and trendy enough to make heads turn.
