Nimrit, Sharan & Jyoti Gill
Fashion is not just a passion for the Gill family but a legacy. Jyoti, Sharan, and Nimrit were born with an insatiable desire for design inherited from their ancestors. In the 70s and 80s, Surjit Gill had already developed into one of the leading fashion designers in New York, India. Her couture label was available at high-end stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, and Neiman Marcus, and she managed to set a Global Monitor for Indian fashion. Gurnir Gill followed in the same footsteps but in a different direction. He started his own export business in the fashion world. He performed services for most famous fashion houses, such as Oscar De La Renta, Valentino, Louis Feraud, and so on. Jyoti Gill has spent 25 years in fashion and has become an established bespoke label owner. Her work is distinguished by the refined technique employed in its production and the elegance of its designs, which are hallmarks of her enduring love for fashion and commitment to the art of high fashion. Nimrit, Sharan & Jyoti Gill together launched Malasa in 2015.
